Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Specialist to join our team in Central Australia.

  • This part-time role (3 days/week) involves delivering HR services, ensuring policy compliance, and providing support to a mission-driven team making a real difference in the region.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant HR qualification (e.g., Certificate IV in Human Resources) and at least 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role.

  • You should have strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and enterprise agreements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and handling sensitive information are essential.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can work independently and as part of a team is required.

Responsibilities
  1. Managing the employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
  2. Providing HR support with sensitivity and confidentiality.
  3. Assisting in performance management and training development.
  4. Developing, implementing, and monitoring HR policies for legal compliance.
  5. Maintaining accurate HR records and preparing reports.
  6. Supporting payroll processes.
