Career Opportunity: Trauma Informed Youth Mentor

We are seeking an individual to support young people in their journey towards success. This rewarding role involves working closely with local communities, schools, and other stakeholders to deliver youth services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to young people in need
  • Maintain strong relationships with schools and other stakeholders
  • Deliver programs and services that promote positive outcomes for young people

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess mental health awareness and experience working with trauma-informed practices
  • Hold qualifications in social work or related field (Cert IV Youth Work minimum)
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including after-school hours
  • Hold current Working with Childrens Check, Police Check, NDIS Screening Check and First Aid certification
  • Have a valid drivers license and vehicle
  • Identify as female
