We are seeking a seasoned Business Resilience Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Business Development and Sales department, you will play a critical role in strengthening our ability to maintain critical business services by designing and embedding business resilience strategies, frameworks, and capabilities.

This role ensures the organization can anticipate, withstand, and recover from disruptions, supporting regulatory compliance and operational continuity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and document critical business services, assess their criticality, tolerance levels, and internal process, system, data, and external dependencies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Improving S&P resilience posture by contributing to the resilience strategy (roadmap, governance, and operating model) and execution.
  • Mapping critical business services to processes, systems, and dependencies, and assessing potential failure scenarios using structured methodologies.
  • Defining and assessing recovery capabilities and developing continuity plans to ensure rapid recovery from disruptions.
  • Designing and coordinating external market testing exercises across the ecosystem, including customers, third-party providers, and internal systems.
  • Developing governance structures and reporting mechanisms that align with enterprise standards, regulatory expectations, incident reviews, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a deep understanding of post-trade equities infrastructure, including trade, clearing, settlement, and subregister functions. You should have experience in mapping critical business services to processes, systems, and dependencies, as well as assessing potential failure scenarios using structured methodologies.

You will also need to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex problems methodically and deliver tailored solutions. Experience in designing and implementing operating models with clear accountabilities, metrics, and governance structures is highly desirable.
