Key Role in Advancing Orthopaedic Surgery

As a Robotic Product Specialist, you will work closely with orthopaedic surgeons to plan and execute robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using advanced technology.

  • You will be the primary clinical expert for the Mako system, providing real-time support during procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff during procedures.
  2. Work collaboratively with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  3. Develop and maintain expertise in robotic technology and orthopaedic surgical techniques.
  4. Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.

Requirements
  • A strong clinical background and passion for surgical innovation.
  • Experience in fields such as orthopaedic clinical support, biomedical science/engineering, medical device experience, operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience, physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure, or human movement/anatomy specialists with clinical experience.
  • Confident in surgical/theatre settings, technically savvy with software and medical technology, and excellent communication skills.
