Robotics Orthopaedic Specialist

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements. This position requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

This involves serving as an expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff. The specialist will collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.

Key responsibilities include conducting pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation, maintaining a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology, and providing ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.

Additionally, the specialist will travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites. A strong understanding of surgical techniques and medical technology is essential, as is excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
