About the Role


We are seeking an Acquisition Specialist to join our team, bringing expertise in procurement and contract management. This role will be a key part of our acquisition process, ensuring smooth day-to-day management of programs.


Responsibilities



  • Maintain a well-developed understanding of procurement processes, policies, and procedures to ensure effective procurement and contract management.


  • Provide expert commercial and financial support to project teams within our organization, focusing on meeting their contract management objectives.


  • Contribute to a high-performing team by developing productive relationships with stakeholders and clients, communicating effectively, and driving commercial outcomes that comply with Commonwealth Government legislation and policy requirements.


  • Develop strategic initiatives focused on improving business management activities and lead internal and external stakeholder engagement on contract management activities.



About Our Team


The EWIS Joint & Air Systems Program Office (J&A SPO) is responsible for the acquisition and through-life-support of assigned Joint and Air Electronic Warfare Capabilities used by the Australian Defence Force. We deliver operational support, countermeasures development, and validation services, as well as delivering projects to the Defence intelligence and security community.

Salary Range: $91,702 - $104,753 + up to 15.4% Superannuation
