Job Title: Business Risk Management Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Risk Management Associate to join our team.

  • This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for providing assurance over quality and adequacy of risks, controls, treatments, events, audit items, and Change Management etc.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing reporting and insights, identifying trends and making recommendations in relation to how risks are being identified, assessed and treated across the portfolio.
  2. Partnering with businesses to support them in delivering their own risk management accountabilities (e.g. Changes, events, treatments, Control design, risk forums) via provision of input, expertise, coaching and guidance.
  3. Drawing up solutions and advice that are sustainable in design and operation improving risk maturity and embedding.
  4. Maturing risk management ecosystem, including proactively identifying and responding to internal/external influences at a segment level.
  5. Driving improvement in risk capability/culture/awareness and promoting operational risk management as a core capability across all Business Units.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of business operations and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proven experience in a similar role or a relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on continuous improvement.
