Job Title

A Senior Human Resources Advisor is required to provide strategic HR support and deliver operational initiatives.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves assisting the HR Manager to provide consistent and compliant HR advice to line managers across operational areas, building strong partnerships with operational leaders to support project delivery, managing accurate information on the HRIS and providing reports and data analysis across a range of HR metrics, partnering with managers on providing advice on employment relations matters, and supporting organisational design and workforce planning activities.

  • Provide consistent and compliant HR advice to line managers across operational areas
  • Build strong, practical partnerships with operational leaders to support successful project delivery
  • Manage accurate information on the HRIS and provide reports and data analysis across a range of HR metrics
  • Partner with managers on providing advice on all employment relations matters
  • Support organisational design and workforce planning activities and work with the recruitment team to onboard required personnel in a timely manner

Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field, experience in a HR advisor role within the construction, engineering or mining sector (or similar industry), strong stakeholder engagement, clear communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, and working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation.
