We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to our research-active community at Swinburne University of Technology, focusing on dark matter research.

\Key Responsibilities\

  • Develop computational and theoretical astrophysics models: Investigate the impact of dark matter on the universe using N-body/hydrodynamical simulations.\
  • Conduct observational dark matter discovery research: Explore primordial black hole dark matter using microlensing or ground/space-based observatories.\
  • Pursue experimental dark matter direct detection: Contribute to WIMP-like nuclear recoil experiments or axion detection efforts.\
  • Bridge disciplines and collaborate with other researchers to uncover new knowledge and create opportunities for new research directions.\
  • Generate and work with simulation, observational, or experimental data.\
  • Maintain strong computational skills and professionalism.\
  • Show initiative and resourcefulness in research and projects.\

    • Required Qualifications\

      • PhD in physics/astrophysics with research experience in one or more of the specified areas.\
