The School of Science at UNSW Canberra is seeking a Senior Lecturer or Academic in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics.

About the RoleAs a Senior Lecturer or Academic, you will be responsible for contributing to curriculum design and course delivery, building a vibrant research portfolio, and sharing your expertise through high-quality publications, grant applications, and supervision of students.
You will also play an active role in the administration and collegial life of the School.
Main Responsibilities- Teach and develop undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics.
- Conduct and publish research in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics.
- Supervise and mentor students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Participate in curriculum development and review, as well as school committees.
- A PhD in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics or a related discipline.
- Expertise in cryogenic techniques and low-temperature measurements.
- Demonstrated track record in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics research.
- Evidence of ability to support and inspire students.
- Experience in teaching and learning design, course development and delivery, and educational technologies.
- Leadership experience in industry or work-integrated learning.
- Professional development in teaching practice and leadership.
- Interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Research leadership with outcomes of high quality and international impact.
