Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Workplace Health & Safety Business Partner to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and partnering with multiple sites to drive a safe and sustainable workplace, while developing and supporting a Culture of Care and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will oversee compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and codes of practice to encourage safe working practices and behaviour at work. They will also assist in promoting health and safety to all colleagues and engage them in ensuring the health and safety of each other.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and codes of practice
  • Assist in promoting health and safety to all colleagues
  • Coordinate the sites Safety Committees and Emergency Control Organizations
  • Coordinate wellbeing initiatives
  • Actively work with implementing and maintaining HSE Directives
  • Monthly reporting of relevant business review statistics
  • Development and update of relevant policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant HSE qualifications (or with a view to complete)
  • Return to Work certification
  • Incident investigation certificate
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (preferred)
  • ISO 45001 and 19001 Foundations Certification with Auditor qualifications preferred
