Senior HSEQ Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Specialist to drive initiatives and compliance across QLD.

As Senior Specialist, you will protect the health and safety of workers by eliminating or minimising risks. You will also ensure all equipment, systems, guidelines, practices, and procedures comply with relevant legislation, standards, and protocols.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong relationship building skills, and well-developed organisational and time management skills. Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience working in a similar HSEQ role are highly desirable.

  • Protect the health and safety of workers and other people within the workplace.
  • Ensure all equipment, systems, guidelines, practices, and procedures comply with relevant HSEQ legislation, standards, and protocols.
  • Conduct regular and effective communication with stakeholders.

You will collaborate closely and regularly with key influencers to support our mission of Serving Society with Superior Quality.

Essential:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid computing skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Strong relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of current HSEQ statutory requirements.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a similar HSEQ role.
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications.
