We are seeking a qualified Spray Finisher with body building and refinishing experience to join our team.

The position offers a monthly RDO and competitive pay rate based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting or coating by removing dirt, rust, and loose paint.
  • Apply various paint finishes using spray guns.
  • Mask areas not being painted and remove tape after completion.
  • Apply undercoats and primers using spray guns.
  • Touch up defective areas.
  • Manage paint stock levels and liaise with suppliers.
  • Use safety equipment such as spray guns and pressure pots.
  • Comply with WHS policies and procedures.
  • Paint metallics and 2K paints.
  • Sand surfaces by hand or use automatic tools.
  • Colour match and mix paints to exact shades.
  • Rectify and polish finished paintwork if necessary.
  • Remove damaged panels and parts, and accessories for access.
  • Repair minor dents and scratches.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Qualified Spray Painter with body building and refinishing background.
  • Skills: Strong drive and motivation to succeed in a safety-conscious environment.
  • Education: Relevant qualification or training.
