Skilled Paint Technician Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to undertake quality workmanship on vehicle paint jobs.
- Mix and match colours according to Job Sheet requirements.
- Build and maintain a colour library.
- Prepare, prime and paint vehicles as per process.
- Buff and denib vehicles.
- Carefully handle all vehicles.
- Note any extra paint work required.
- Report old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager.
- Clean work bay and workshop areas.
- Coach apprentices when required.
A trade-qualified Spray Painter with minimum 3 years experience is required. You should have strong commitment to working safely, excellent communication skills and high attention to detail. You will need to own tools to fulfil the role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mixing and matching colours according to job specifications.
- Building and maintaining a colour library.
- Preparing, priming and painting vehicles in accordance with established processes.
- Buffing and denibbing vehicles to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Carefully handling all vehicles to prevent damage.
- Notifying the team of any additional paint work required.
- Reporting any old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager.
- Cleaning the work bay and workshop areas.
- Coaching apprentices when required.
