Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets. We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams.
The Inspirations Paint Airport West store is looking for an enthusiastic Paint Sales Assistant to join the business in a casual position.
The successful applicant must have paint knowledge/experience in the paint industry, be genuinely interested in people and their projects, and in providing an exceptional customer experience to both our retail and trade customers. Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects would also be an advantage.
The position is available for immediate start and will include ongoing industry leading training, Award wages and a uniform. Business hours are 6:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm Saturday, and 10am to 4pm Sunday. Flexibility is required and shifts include weekends on rotation.
Responsibilities include:
- Following our "Inspirations Way" procedures
- Providing exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customers
- Tinting and mixing paint, colour advice and matching
- Paint and accessory deliveries as required
- Store presentation, stock management and housekeeping
- Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety requirements
Experience / Attributes:
- A background in sales and/or customer service with a paint specialist or in a hardware environment
- Practical experience in home improvement projects desirable
- Proven customer service and sales experience with a strong knowledge of sales processes
- Able to problem solve using advanced communication skills
- A willingness to learn and continually improve
- Able to contribute and work in a small team environment
- Full, current driver's licence
- Honest, reliable and punctual
- Basic computer skills
- This role involves some heavy lifting up to 25kgs
