Job Title: Event Service Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Service Team Leader to join our team. This is a key role that will provide exceptional guest experiences at a luxurious destination.

This position supports the success of all food and beverage venues across the hotel, with a current focus on leading the team during the popular "Le Petit Chef" event, held five times a week. This immersive culinary journey combines theatre and dining, featuring the world's smallest chef, offering an exclusive experience for pre-booked guests.

As the Event Service Team Leader, you will ensure the event runs smoothly and meets high standards. Your key responsibilities include managing event setup and pack-down, briefing the team, providing clear direction, supporting team members, and guaranteeing each guest's experience exceeds expectations.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of proven experience in motivating and leading a team in a busy events, functions, or F&B environment, preferably in hotels, restaurants, or event service.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Confidence in multi-tasking and delivering under pressure, maintaining composure during last-minute changes.
  • Attention to detail and a motivated, approachable attitude committed to delivering a unique guest experience.
  • Knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits.
  • Ability to work well in a team and support team success.
  • Flexibility with availability, including evenings and weekends.

Additional requirements include:

  • Legal right to work in Australia without restrictions.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
  • Proof of completing a food safety course.
