About the Role

Centurion is seeking a skilled and experienced Metro Logistics Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of general freight to and from customer specified sites within the Darwin metro area.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Local Pick Ups & Deliveries: Safely transport goods to and from our vendors and clients around the metro and regional areas.
  2. Load Securing & Restraint: Ensure all loads are secured and restrained in a safe and efficient manner.
  3. Vehicle Pre-Start Checks: Conduct thorough pre-start checks to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and ready for operation.
  4. Safety & Procedural Compliance: Adhere to all safety and procedural requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
  5. Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  1. Current MC/HC Driver's Licence: Hold a valid and current MC/HC driver's licence.
  2. Experience in Freight Transportation: Possess experience in transporting general freight, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
  3. Accredited Forklift Ticket: Hold an accredited forklift ticket and be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  4. Safe Driving Record: Maintain a safe driving record and demonstrate a commitment to safety on the road.
  5. Ability to Follow Instructions: Be able to follow instructions and adhere to client site requirements.
  6. Flexibility & Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced logistics environment.
