Job Title: Clinical Nurse Leader

Bolton Clarke is a leading provider of aged care services with a commitment to enabling, celebrating and supporting older Australians to live and age positively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a consistently high quality of care is provided to residents. This involves proactive management of resident care, commitment to quality assurance, continuous improvement and high standards of work ethics.

  • Deliver a high quality of care to each resident in the home respecting their privacy and dignity while displaying customer focus.
  • Support new graduates, oversee clinical placements and assist RNs from overseas working in our Home.
  • Develop, monitor and implement the nursing care plan as designed for each resident by the healthcare team and the resident/representative, making changes based on clinical assessment and liaising with resident/family regarding care requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan and evaluate care for residents with complex needs.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop short and longer term treatment plans in line with diagnostic findings.
  • Lead case conference approaches ensuring all relevant input is evaluated and considered in planning and providing person centred care.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate experience in aged care.
  • Sound leadership capability, ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office suite.
  • Current COVID & Annual Flu Vaccination (Mandatory).
