Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in an Aged Care Home setting.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience as a Registered Nurse and possess clinical leadership skills in an Aged Care setting.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who can provide high-level clinical support and assessment for residents while also providing clinical leadership, support, and mentoring for Registered Nurses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Support: Identify residents requiring clinical review and undertake clinical assessments.
- Develop and implement care plans in consultation with the clinical team and residents.
- Provide support, education, and mentoring to the clinical team.
- Offer clinical support for unplanned incidents such as sudden clinical deterioration.
Clinical Specialization:
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will have the opportunity to specialize in a clinical area such as palliative and dementia care while also providing a high level of general clinical expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualifications in a specialized clinical area related to aged care.
- One year's experience working in the area of the postgraduate qualification or aged care.
- A minimum of five years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
