Looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to support children's growth and development in a dynamic environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Coordinator to join our team, responsible for providing exceptional before and after-school care services to children at St Francis Xavier Catholic Primary School Ashbury.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and the school community.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 30 hours per week. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the provision of a safe and inclusive OSHC service for staff and children
  • Maintain accurate records of children's attendance and casual bookings schedules
  • Supervise other educators, promoting a positive and supportive team environment
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs, incorporating observations and reflection journals
  • Communicate effectively with families, sharing children's participation and engagement in programs
  • Maintain strong relationships with families and the school community

Requirements:

  • Hold a qualification in Child Education and Care or be working towards it
  • Previous experience in Out of School Hour (OSHC) care
  • Hold a certificate of training in child protection
  • Full first-aid certificates
  • Hold an NSW Working with Children check, or be willing to obtain one
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. All applicants require current and valid working rights for Australia.
