**Job Description:**

The Teacher Aide will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of the Australian Curriculum, working collaboratively with teachers to plan and resource learning activities that cater to individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning, preparing and delivering high-quality educational programs for students.
  • Support the development of positive relationships between students, teachers and families through respectful communication and active listening.
  • Engage in playground duties and supervise small-group activities to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide administrative support to teachers, including photocopying, filing and resource organisation.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A formal qualification in education support (Certificate or Diploma) or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Primary Education.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in planning, observing and reporting on student learning and behaviours.
  • A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability and growth-focused mindset skills.
