About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator to join our team. As an OSHC Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children outside of school hours.

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced educator who can design and deliver engaging activities that promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Your primary goal will be to ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times during before and after school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Child Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Educational Program Delivery: Design and deliver engaging activities that promote children's development.
  • Behaviour Management: Effectively manage and address behavioural issues using positive reinforcement techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Communication: Maintain open and positive communication with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • Completed or working towards an ACECQA-approved Diploma or Certificate.
  • First Aid qualifications.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.

Benefits:

We offer a casual position with 15-20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 6:00pm. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other educators to plan and coordinate activities, share resources, and contribute to the overall success of the program.
