Job Title: Global Payments Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Payments Operations Specialist to join our team at Anton Murray Consulting. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for monitoring payment processing applications, reviewing and validating payments, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of funds transfers and settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payment Processing: Monitor payment processing applications, review and validate payments, and flag issues that arise with payment mechanisms.
  • Funds Transfer and Settlements: Process funds transfers and settlements in an accurate and timely manner, adhering to payment cut-off times and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Cash Movement Management: Manage the daily processing of cash movements by bank clients, confirming the validity of transactions with managers in cash processing and client services.
  • Client Inquiries: Research and resolve client inquiries received from the client services team.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Monitoring: Adhere to and complete regulatory and compliance monitoring and reporting, as required.
  • Quality Improvement: Serve as an escalation point for data processing issues and provide input on quality improvement processes.
  • Operational Support: Assist in collecting US tax documentation for IRS requirements and participate in business initiatives, including new projects.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years' experience in financial services or payment processing roles.
  • Skills: Good communication, organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are essential. Knowledge of local payments systems (e.g., Austraclear) and the SWIFT payment system is preferred.
