Paid and Earned Trade Marketing Manager
Key Responsibilities:- Develop an annual media plan aligned to marketing priorities.
- Identify opportunities to enhance visibility, influence, and thought leadership.
- Create business cases for key placements and PR initiatives.
- Negotiate paid media contracts across digital trade environments.
- Ensure strategic alignment from all paid publisher partnerships.
- Plan, brief, book, and optimize paid campaigns.
- Brief creative teams and manage production timelines.
- Deliver campaigns end-to-end on time, on brand, and on budget.
- Track performance and deliver post-campaign reporting using clear KPIs.
- Partner with Corporate Affairs to identify earned PR opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with trade editorial teams and pitch stories that support marketing objectives.
- Secure high-impact editorial placements and track outcomes.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience in trade marketing, PR, or media buying.
- A collaborative mindset, confident communication skills, and strategic thinking.
- Experience managing campaigns end-to-end, from negotiation to tracking performance.
- Ability to balance creative instinct with commercial rigor.
- Strong instincts for identifying content that drives engagement and influence.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while balancing brand, commercial, and creative priorities.
- High emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills.
- Solid understanding of the Australian media and trade publishing landscape.
