Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our project team in delivering high-quality mechanical services. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will oversee the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and mechanical services across a major infrastructure project.

This role requires strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC, and relevant codes, as well as experience managing subcontractors and technical submittals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and review shop drawings, RFIs, ITPs, commissioning plans, and as-built documentation
  • Ensure subcontractor works comply with design, project specifications, NCC, BCA, and project requirements
  • Manage site engineering deliverables including penetration schedules, red-line mark-ups, and commissioning documentation
  • Provide day-to-day engineering and technical support to supervisors, site engineers, and subcontractors

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Mechanical Engineer)
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) – preferred
  • Membership of relevant Engineering Institutions (e.g. Engineers Australia) – preferred
