Role Overview
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC systems on a major infrastructure project.
This involves overseeing the supply and installation of chilled water systems, ventilation systems, mechanical LV systems, and BMCS interfaces.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, ITPs, commissioning plans, and as-built documentation.
About the Role- Oversight of subcontractor works to ensure compliance with design, project specifications, NCC, BCA, and project requirements.
- Providing day-to-day engineering support to supervisors and site engineers.
- Liaising with mechanical subcontractors, suppliers, and commissioning teams to ensure timely delivery.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) – highly desirable.
- Membership of relevant Engineering Institutions – highly desirable.
- At least 3 years' experience in HVAC project delivery in a construction environment.
