We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Aboriginal Engagement team in Melbourne East.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of issues impacting clients and be able to develop policies, standards and practices to enhance service delivery.

  • Strategically design departmental objectives to impact significant localised service delivery and meet statewide and government objectives and community expectations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of client issues and investigate projects to improve client outcomes.
  • Foster connections across the department and with external stakeholders to ensure effective services are provided for all clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in a government or social services context.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
