Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Aboriginal Health Services team. As a leader in Aboriginal health, you will play a pivotal role in planning and implementing care across the continuum.

Your responsibilities will include establishing a robust governance structure for our services, developing frameworks that pertain to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

This involves engaging with Aboriginal stakeholders and consumers, working collaboratively to improve health outcomes, and promoting cultural safety in our healthcare environment.

  • You will lead a team of Aboriginal Community Health staff, guiding them towards delivering high-quality care to children and adults.
  • You will establish relationships with Aboriginal stakeholders and consumers, fostering partnerships that benefit our community.
  • You will work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals, driving positive change in healthcare.

In addition to your leadership skills, you will need:

  • Strong community connections, allowing you to effectively engage with our Aboriginal community.
  • A deep understanding of Aboriginal health issues, enabling you to develop targeted solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience working in health, particularly in Aboriginal Health, where you can apply your knowledge and skills.
