The CPB Contractors consortium, alongside ACCIONA and Ghella, has been entrusted by the Victorian Government to execute a pivotal tunnelling package on the Suburban Rail Loop East project.

This major contract encompasses the construction of a 16-kilometre section of the twin tunnels, including tunnelling between Cheltenham and Glen Waverley, 55 safety cross passages between the tunnels, station boxes at Clayton and Monash, and the construction of portals – the entrances and exits to the tunnels – at the stabling facility.

Notably, this project is part of Victoria's Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) initiative, aimed at transforming Melbourne's public transport network.

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Contracts Administrator to manage the administration of subcontract and supplier contracts and financial administration for the project.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Overseeing site office administration for the project
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager in preparing and reviewing the project monthly report, providing detailed programme and cost data
  • Evaluating and submitting potential variations/claims
  • Ensuring timely preparation and receipt of main contract payments
Requirements:

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications and 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Detailed knowledge and high-level expertise in project management, planning, budgeting, and cost control
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to interpret and apply contracts
  • High-level decision-making, negotiation, and influencing skills
