Company Overview

The Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East project is a major infrastructure undertaking that will transform Melbourne's public transport network. The consortium, comprising CPB Contractors, ACCIONA and Ghella, have been selected by the Victorian Government to deliver this vital project.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Permits Coordinator to join our team on this exciting project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and issuing all permits to ensure smooth transition from concept to construction completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit all facets of the Permit-to-Work system at regular intervals to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate and coordinate Project Construction PTW requirements by liaising with Supervisors/Subcontractors and access enable work flow.
  • Audit and ensure information and procedures are adequate for isolations.
  • Be actively involved in the development of third-party interface agreements to safely execute workloads carried out by external subcontractors.
  • Monitor material availability and coordinate with task scheduling.

What We Offer

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Permit-to-Work and/or heavy industry and high-risk workplaces.
  • Cert IV Occupational Health and Safety qualification.
  • Trade qualification in a related industry preferred.
  • Experience in construction on major projects.
  • Ability to participate in high-level investigations involving multiple internal and external parties.
  • Knowledge of isolation procedures and compliance codes.
