Project Coordinator Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to project teams by preparing documentation, sending out inquiries for prices of materials and subcontractors, and receiving quotes from suppliers.

  • Document preparation and presentation material creation for pre-qualifications and tender submissions.
  • Price inquiry dissemination and quote reception from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Quote evaluation, including verification of quantities, quality, timelines, and thoroughness, with recommendations for supplier/subcontractor selection.
  • Quantity take-offs and sketches, programs, method statements, and minor temporary designs for inclusion in tenders.
  • Service Authorities and Councils information seeking regarding potential asset interference with construction projects.
  • Collection of tender/pre-qualification documents prior to submission.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Construction Management, Building Economics etc).
  • Membership in the Australian Institute of Building (AIB).
  • Self-sufficiency, requiring limited supervision with focus on results.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • A strong commitment to organisational values of safety & care, honesty & integrity, customer focus, teamwork, and performance excellence.
  • Permanent residency in Australia.
  • Adherence to role and responsibilities matrix issued by the Project Manager.
  • Maintenance and management of defect process on Aconexfield.
  • Receipt and reporting of quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for variation preparation.
