About the Role

The Capsules Operator is a critical member of our production team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our consumers. This role involves general line operations, autonomous maintenance activities, quality inspections, and championing safety in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Activities: Start-up/Shutdown Procedures, Clean, Inspect, Lubricate (CIL), Material Availability, Quality, Administration
  • Safety: Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all safe practices and systems relevant to the North Rocks site and the legal responsibility placed on team members
  • Workplace Hazards: Knowledge of the potential hazards and risks in the work environment and job activities
  • Environment: Works to reduce and eliminate waste through the correct handling of waste and hazardous materials
  • Continuous Improvement: Awareness and knowledge of how to use performance measures to identify and prioritise losses in production area
  • Teamwork: Must be a good team member capable of working with a highly effective team
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate issues relating to safety and provide operational observations and inputs to support decision makers
