Job Summary

The Capsules Operator is a critical role in the production process, responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our consumers. As a key member of the operations team, this individual will be responsible for general line operations, autonomous maintenance activities, quality inspections, and championing safety in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Activities: The Capsules Operator will be responsible for performing start-up and shutdown procedures, cleaning and inspecting equipment, and ensuring material availability. They will also be responsible for conducting quality checks and monitoring product quality against set standards.
  • Safety: The Capsules Operator will have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all safe practices and systems relevant to the North Rocks site. They will actively participate and contribute to safety discussions to create a safe working environment.
  • Workplace Hazards: The Capsules Operator will be aware of potential hazards and risks in the work environment and job activities. They will utilize appropriate safety and environment procedures to mitigate hazards.
  • Environment: The Capsules Operator will work to reduce and eliminate waste through the correct handling of waste and hazardous materials. They will understand the importance of minimizing the impact of operations on health, safety, and environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: The Capsules Operator will be aware of how to use performance measures to identify and prioritize losses in production area. They will engage in root cause analysis tools and WCM practices.
  • Teamwork: The Capsules Operator will be a good team member capable of working with a highly effective team. They will be responsible, supportive, and reliable.
  • Communication: The Capsules Operator will be able to effectively communicate issues relating to safety and provide operational observations and inputs to support decision makers.

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm to learn and engage in continuous improvement projects.
