Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sales and Trade Development Professional to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our valued trade customers. You will work closely with our operations team to identify new product and market opportunities and develop sales strategies to drive growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with assigned customers
  • Identify and develop new customers and cold call effectively
  • Grow sales by identifying new product and market opportunities
  • Liaise with the operations team to improve product design and customer service
  • Prepare project quotations and sales proposals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven sales track record, preferably in the building or hardware industry
  • Action-oriented and able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Hands-on, practical person with good technical ability
  • Estimating experience would be highly valued but not essential
  • Honest, self-motivated, and passionate about being successful
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent business building and prospecting skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities
