As a Family Support Practitioner, you will work with children, young people, and their families to implement evidence-based strategies for improved safety and wellbeing outcomes. This involves providing intensive family support to address the specific needs of each family.
- Develop and deliver parenting strategies and practical life skills coaching to promote healthy relationships and self-sufficiency.
- Support families in accessing community resources, education, and employment pathways to enhance their overall quality of life.
- Conduct home visits and engage in early intervention strategies to improve safety and wellbeing outcomes for children and families.
- Collaborate with government and community stakeholders to provide wrap-around support and ensure a comprehensive approach to meeting family needs.
To succeed as a Family Support Practitioner, you will need:
