Deck Navigation Specialist

Maritime Officer Role
Cement Carrier Operations require highly skilled officers to manage navigation, cargo, and overall vessel operations.
The Second Officer plays a key role in the crew, working closely with senior officers to ensure seamless execution of tasks and duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate charts and nautical publications;
- Evaluate and update charts based on latest notices prior to sailing;
- Develop and provide passage plans for Master's verification before departure;
- Manage radio publications and maintain Radio Logs promptly;
- Monitor Bridge equipment condition and perform routine maintenance;
- Oversee Emergency Equipment delegated by Chief Officer;
- Act as Designated Medical Officer;
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Compliance with AMSA Marine Order 71;
- Minimum 12 months sea time as Deck Watchkeeper;
- Valid MSIC Card or ability to obtain;
- Working Safely at Heights certification or ability to obtain;
- Enter and Work in Confined Workspace certification;
- Current AMSA Medical Certificate;
- Australian Citizenship or Valid Work Visa;
- Residency in Australia.
