State Manager

Programmed Property Services is a leading provider of property maintenance services across various industries. As a State Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading a growing and experienced team, fostering a supportive and inclusive team environment, and contributing to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Strategy: Reporting directly to the Head of Painting SA/WA/NT, you will develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance financial performance.
- Performance Management: You will assess the performance of the state, establish budgets and plans, and identify opportunities to address areas of underperformance or capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Safety Culture: A core part of your role will be to promote and develop a robust safety culture across the business, ensuring compliance with all HSE standards.
- Financial Oversight: You will develop and implement strategies and processes aimed at reducing expenditure, improving profitability, and ensuring that company strategies and objectives are met.
- Team Development: You will coach, mentor, and develop the painting team, ensuring staff are engaged and actively involved in the business's success.
- Solid management experience as a Branch Manager or Senior Operational role
- An engaging personality with the ability to form strong customer and internal relationships
- Ability to see and interpret potential customer solutions
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively at multiple levels
- Understanding of all sales and operational reports
- Ability to review sales estimates, provide accurate monthly forecasting
