State Accounting Manager

Visy is seeking a highly skilled State Accounting Manager to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of the SA Finance team, you will be responsible for all facets of the accounting and financial functions, providing timely management & financial information to the Recycling team.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, analyze, and report financials, providing commercial and financial support.
- Stride for continuous system and business process improvements.
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly management reports, manage the mid-month estimate process, and oversee the month-end close.
- Provide comparative analysis on reported results to determine key drivers and future state.
- Full responsibility for transactional account accruals and provisions, ensuring integrity of data is correct and anomalies are investigated and reported accordingly.
- Balance sheet ownership with the timely completion of Reconciliations, Journal entries, FBT Return/reconciliation and relevant analysis as requested.
- Budgeting & Forecasting for your business units.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and obtain/review quarterly balance sheet sign-offs from all Sites.
- CA/CPA qualification or working towards completion of these studies.
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in Accountant roles.
- Quick learner, problem solver with a great eye for detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and organized person with a real 'Can Do' attitude.
- Great communicator, enabling you to form strong relationships with stakeholders on all levels.
- Tech savvy, with advanced Excel skills and SAP experience would be advantageous.
