Job Description

Programmed Property Services is a leading provider of property maintenance services across various industries. We are seeking an experienced State Manager to lead our South Australian Painting division.

The successful candidate will provide senior leadership, driving activities to achieve performance outcomes in key areas such as Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), people management, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Foster positive relationships with customers and stakeholders, contributing to the development of the state.
  • Performance Management: Assess the performance of the state, establish budgets and plans, and identify strategies to address areas of underperformance or capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Safety Culture: Promote and develop a robust safety culture across the business, ensuring compliance with all HSE standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and implement strategies and processes aimed at reducing expenditure, improving profitability, and ensuring that company strategies and objectives are met.
  • Team Development: Coach, mentor, and develop the painting team, ensuring staff are engaged and actively involved in the business's success.

Requirements:

  • Solid Management experience as a Branch Manager or Senior Operational role.
  • An engaging personality with the ability to form strong customer and internal relationships.
  • Ability to see and interpret potential customer solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively at multiple levels.
  • Understanding of all sales and operational reports.
  • Ability to review sales estimates, provide accurate monthly forecasting.
