The Business Development Manager - Digital will be a key member of Fluence Digital's Commercial team, driving business growth and development efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Support the growth of Fluence Digital's Bidding Optimisation and Asset Performance Management solutions in Australia.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including customer qualification, deal scoping, structuring, negotiation, and deal closing.
- Utilize Fluence Digital's sales engineering tools and processes to model and quantify the value Fluence Digital can add for individual customers.
- Maintain regular meeting cadence with the Fluence Digital's Europe-based APM team.
- Support relationships with key customers, electricity market operators, regulatory bodies, utilities, and external consultants.
- Maintain accurate records in Fluence Digital's customer relationship management system.
- Track maturation of Fluence Digital's competitive environment to inform Fluence Digital positioning, product offering, and go-to-market strategy.
- 5-7 years of work experience, including experience in a business development or sales role.
- Experience in the energy industry, including renewable energy asset management and/or energy trading desirable.
- Saa S company experience, and experience with business/enterprise customers, highly preferred.
- Degree in Commerce, Engineering, Science or another analytical field required.
- Ability to build and maintain robust and collaborative relationships with a wide range of user types.
- Eagerness to work in collaborative, dynamic, and team-based environments.
- Willingness to learn quickly on-the-job across a range of technical subject matters.
