About the Role

We are seeking an Executive Director of Quality and Service Development to lead our Residential Care and Specialised Support team in Rockhampton. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance on service delivery, program development, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including participants, service providers, and community members.
  • Work closely with staff to develop a deep understanding of young people's needs, focusing on trauma, grief, loss, attachment, and child development.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve interventions and ensure practice is grounded in a therapeutic framework.
  • Develop and maintain a positive team culture, fostering excellent communication among team members.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to program staff on practice and compliance issues.
Requirements
  • Diploma qualifications in Social Services or Child Protection or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Quality Assurance systems, including the Human Service Quality Framework.
  • Proven ability to advise, coach, and mentor staff on practice and compliance issues.
