Clinical Data Analyst

Central Queensland Hospital And Health Service is seeking an experienced Clinical Data Analyst to join our team in Rockhampton. As a key member of our Health Information Team, you will be responsible for performing data quality checks and ensuring the integrity of our outpatient data.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where you will utilise your analytical skills to improve reporting, best practice, and strategic planning within the outpatient departments. You will also provide technical advice and support to clinicians and administrative staff.

We are looking for someone with high-level research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills who can develop innovative solutions to complex issues while driving continuous business practice improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience or the ability to rapidly acquire skills in health-related databases such as HBCIS. You will also possess knowledge of or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of ABF counting rules, SOSIS, and CQHHS Policies and Procedures.

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual remuneration value of up to $114,177 p.a. This includes an hourly rate between $45.81 - $50.46 p.h., 12.75% employer superannuation contribution, and 17.5% leave loading.
