Senior Home Care Specialist

The hourly rate for this position is $28.60 - $31.24 (based on experience) + Penalties + 11% Superannuation + 17.5% Leave Loading. We also offer NFP Salary Packaging options of up to $15,900 Tax-Free, plus $2,650 Meals & Entertainment Card, onsite parking, and online + in-store discounts with Blue Light Card Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced caregiver to join our team as a Domestic Care Worker. As a key member of our care team, you will provide essential support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and live life to the fullest.

• Provide basic mobility assistance such as walking with a resident or propelling their wheelchair
• Assist with the delivery of meals and removal of dishes/meal trays
• Supervise residents in a memory support unit
• Stock individual continence bags
• Apply moisturizing skin creams
• Assist with glasses, hearing aids, and other assistive devices
• Clean resident rooms and laundry duties
• Offer emotional support and assistance to residents and their families/visitors
• Accompany residents to activities and outings

• NDIS Worker Clearance (current or willing to obtain)
• Unlimited working rights in Australia
• Hospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion and Empathy
• Understanding of resident rights and aged care standards (desirable but not essential)
