Print Services Technical Specialist

As a highly skilled Print Services Technical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the technical aspects of print services provided by supported printers and Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) at our Canberra office. This 12-month contract, with the option to extend for two additional 12-month periods, requires an individual with a strong background in MFD, Printer devices, and associated Print Server components.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2+ years' experience working with MFDs, printers, and print server components, as well as expertise in configuring and managing MFD and printer utilities. Your ability to provide technical support for services provided by supported printers and MFDs, liaise with fleet vendors, and manage print services in desktop and Protected Enclave environments will be essential to your success in this role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Technical support for services provided by supported printers and MFDs
  • Liaison with fleet vendors, including responsibility for provision of regular impression counts, fleet movements, and resolution of technical issues
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain print services in desktop and Protected Enclave environments
  • Development, testing, certification, and deployment of new printer and MFD models, capabilities, drivers, and software
  • Active participation in the team service desk following agency and ITIL processes, including management of tasks and job queues while maintaining tight time frames with a level of autonomy
