Job Title:

Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to lead our efforts in managing complex workers compensation cases and non-work related injured/ill employees. You will design, implement and monitor psychological safety and wellbeing initiatives, providing advice on health, safety and wellbeing management to senior managers, managers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and implement policies and procedures related to health, safety and wellbeing.
  • Identify emerging health, safety and wellbeing issues and recommend enhancements to practices.
  • Contribute to risk management and input to the Legal Aid Queensland risk register.
  • Coordinate the network of representatives and regional work, health and safety contacts.
  • Manage the incident reporting system and contribute to HSW data analysis.
  • Deliver information sessions on HSW processes and coordinate training.
  • Prepare briefing notes and documentation relating to rehabilitation/injury management and HSW.
