Ace Civil Pty Ltd, a renowned player in the building and construction industry, is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team. Based in Regents Park, NSW, Ace Civil was established in Sydney, Australia in 2018 and has since become a trusted name in the corporate structure of the Allam Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, developing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and deeds of variation for commercial construction programs, works projects, and provision of services. Key tasks include:

  • Drafting and negotiating contracts and deeds of variation;
  • Analysing contractual offers for potential commercial risks;
  • Clarifying terms and conditions with corporate managers, quantity surveyors, civil engineers, and contractual parties;
  • Administering corporate contracts, including storage and retrieval of wet-ink executed paper-based documents and electronically executed contracts;
  • Liaising with company director, administration manager, site managers, civil engineers, and other professionals to ensure project timelines are met;
  • Providing advice on specific issues and matters requiring attention from senior management;
  • Monitoring corporate deadlines and ensuring key contractual conditions are met;
  • Supervising and reporting on applied variations to contractual terms and work orders;
  • Preparing and reviewing proposals, submissions, and reports concerning commercial activities and construction operations;

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • AQF diploma, advanced diploma, associate degree or higher, or three years of relevant experience;
  • Two years of work experience in the occupation, or three years where applicant relies on work experience in lieu of formal qualifications;
  • Proficiency in English language;
  • Excellent communication - both written and verbal;
  • Strong understanding of workplace WHS procedures;
  • Demonstrated experience in building and civil projects.

We offer a competitive salary package, including $115,625 per annum plus superannuation, making it an attractive opportunity for skilled professionals.
