Ace Civil Pty Ltd is a leading early works contractor with a strong reputation in the building and construction industry. As a Contract Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the company's success by drafting, developing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and deeds of variation for commercial construction programs, works projects, and provision of services.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts and deeds of variation;
  • Negotiating with corporate partners to advance company strategic interests;
  • Analysing contractual offers for potential commercial risks;
  • Clarifying terms and conditions for corporate managers, quantity surveyors, civil engineers, and contractual parties;
  • Responding to inquiries and resolving issues concerning company contracts, construction programs, commercial projects, services provided, and affected entities;
  • Administering corporate contracts, including the management, storage, and retrieval of wet-ink executed paper-based documents and electronically executed contracts for corporate operations;
  • Liaising with company director, administration manager, site managers, civil engineers, and other professionals to ensure project timelines and development goals are met;
  • Advising company director and senior management on specific issues and matters requiring their attention and implementing their decisions;
  • Monitoring corporate deadlines and ensuring key contractual conditions are met;
  • Supervising and reporting on applied variations to contractual terms and work orders;
  • Preparing and reviewing proposals, submissions, and reports concerning commercial activities and construction operations;
  • Reviewing and arranging new office accommodation and storage facilities for corporate asset pool;
  • Collecting, maintaining, and analysing data on construction projects and reporting on commercial outcomes;
  • Standardising language across corporate contracts and construction project development and planning documentation.

Key skills and experience required:

  • AQF diploma, advanced diploma, associate degree, or higher, or alternatively, three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications;
  • Two years of work experience in the occupation, or three years where applicant relies on work experience in lieu of formal qualifications;
  • Proficiency in the English language;
  • Excellent communication - both written and verbal;
  • Strong understanding of workplace WHS procedures;
  • Demonstrated experience in building and civil projects.

The salary level on offer for the position is $115,625.00 per annum plus superannuation. Applicants must provide their current CV and a covering letter outlining their experience and formal skills.
