Key Responsibilities

As a mentor, your primary role is to empower individuals to secure sustainable employment by providing tailored guidance/coaching, job placement, and ongoing support to your client group. You will collaborate with employers to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.

Key Performance Indicators
  • Meet specific targets related to securing sustainable employment for clients.
  • Provide coaching/guidance to enhance clients' employability skills.
  • Negotiate and establish partnerships with employers to create employment opportunities.

A valid police check and working with children check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID to access government data aligned to the role.

Requirements

Successful applicants will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be confident communicators, and have a commitment to making a difference through connecting and supporting clients into sustainable employment. Relevant experience in coaching, mentoring, and case management within employment services or a similar field is ideal.
