Job Title: Mobility Coach

We are seeking a skilled Mobility Coach to join our team in Albury on a permanent part-time basis.

The successful candidate will provide mobility services to support individuals with vision impairment, helping them develop and maintain independence in their daily activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and communicate results with clients, families, and case teams.

  • Develop individualized Orientation and Mobility programs that cater to each client's needs.

  • Train clients in essential orientation and mobility techniques for various environments.

  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, identifying potential risks and intervening as necessary.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Orientation & Mobility and current completion of COMS.
  • Ability to travel regularly by car and domestic flight for overnight stays.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and skills in analysis, planning, and problem-solving.
  • A current unrestricted drivers' license and good driving records.
