Job Description:

As a supportive team member, you will play a key role in assisting teachers and students during school events and excursions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment and resources, communicating effectively with students and staff, and ensuring the well-being of students with high needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting teachers and students during sporting activities and school excursions.
  • Managing and maintaining equipment and resources.
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high-level interpersonal skills.
  • Maintaining records of students' development.
  • Providing clerical support including typing notes and work programs.
  • Assisting in supervision of education activities under teacher direction.
  • Preparing, storing and clearing away teaching equipment and materials.
  • Supervising playground and bus duties.
  • Collecting money from students for various activities.
  • Contributing to student welfare, health and safety.
  • Administering first aid after formal training.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) is required. The successful applicant will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
